What is the Pathways programme?

The Cisco Pathways programme aims to inspire young people in Y7-13 from all backgrounds by introducing them to careers in technology whilst developing key employability skills. It is a foundation that could lead to joining Cisco’s Degree Apprenticeship.

The programme has downloadable STEM resources for teachers, long-term school partnerships delivering in-school workshops and visits to Cisco offices, plus business and technical work experience. We give students a sneak peek into the tech industry and hopefully plant seeds for their future careers by introducing them to people behind some of the world’s best technology. In addition, we’re offering senior level mentoring for our partner schools by connecting them with a Cisco executive.

Find out more about our other digital skills programmes at cs.co/DigitalSkills.

How can I get my school involved?

Y7-9: Our STEM resources are available for you to download and use in your lessons. These one hour resources are designed to be run by teachers and have all the guides and templates that you’ll need.

If you are interested in being one of our selected partner schools, please email us at pathways@external.cisco.com

Y10-13: Our work experience is open to all schools, with priority access given to our Pathways Partner Schools. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for application open dates or email us at pathways@external.cisco.com to be notified directly.
